I’m Sherece, a graphic designer based in Edmonton, Alberta. I completed my design studies at MacEwan University in 2013, and in the years since I’ve acquired both in-house and agency experience in Canada and abroad.
Currently, I dedicate my creative energy to the NAIT Students' Association, shaping the organization’s brand identity and designing for a wide range of mediums. I wear many hats as a designer, and in 2024 I added another: sessional instructor. Teaching design students at my alma mater has been incredibly rewarding (and at times, daunting).
My career highlights include winning 2 Advertising Club of Edmonton (ACE) Awards for the APPI Planner’s Guide to Edmonton book set, completing my first mural in 2019, and speaking on graphic design at the NASH86 Student Journalism Conference in February of 2024. But I’m most proud of the junior designers I’ve mentored over the years — I love seeing others grow and build confidence in their skills.
When I’m not designing, you can find me exploring one of Edmonton’s many festivals, building yet another niche Spotify playlist, or wandering a thrift store for more coloured glass to add to my growing collection.
